Using UsTheMemory

• UsTheMemory lets card owners create group greeting cards and invite contributors to submit messages, photos, videos, voice notes, and timeline memories.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, create a card, manage a card, or submit a contribution.
• You are responsible for the information you provide, the cards you create, and the content you upload or invite others to upload.
• You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the service, or use it for spam, scams, harassment, or unlawful activity.

Accounts and card access

• Card owners are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for controlling who receives contribution links, access codes, and published-card links.
• Anyone with a contribution or viewing link may be able to access the related card experience, depending on the card settings chosen by the owner.
• We may suspend or restrict accounts, cards, contribution links, or published cards if we believe they violate these terms, our Content Guidelines, or applicable law.

User content

• You keep ownership of the text, photos, videos, audio, names, and other content you submit to UsTheMemory.
• By submitting content, you give UsTheMemory permission to host, store, process, display, transcode, resize, and transmit that content as needed to provide the card service.
• You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content, including permission from people who appear in or can be heard in uploaded media where required.
• Card owners may view, manage, organize, publish, share, or delete contributions according to the product features available to them.

Payments and refunds

• Some features may require payment. Prices, included features, and payment timing are shown before purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.
• Unless a checkout page or written policy says otherwise, purchases are final once a card or paid feature has been delivered, published, exported, or used.
• If something goes wrong with a purchase or paid feature, contact us and we will review the issue in good faith.

Service changes and availability

• We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as we improve the product or respond to operational, security, or legal needs.
• We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at a specific time.
• You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important content before deleting cards, deleting your account, or relying on a published card for an event.

Disclaimers and limits

• The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent allowed by law.
• To the fullest extent allowed by law, UsTheMemory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruption.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Content rules

Your use of the service must also follow our Content Guidelines. We may remove content, disable cards, restrict contribution links, or suspend accounts when content or behavior violates those guidelines.

Privacy

Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete personal information and uploaded media.

Questions and changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make material changes, we will notify signed-in users by email or in-app notice when appropriate. Questions about these terms can be sent to usthememorysupport@gmail.com.
