Content Guidelines

Share with care

• Only upload messages, photos, videos, audio, and timeline moments that you have the right to share.
• Make sure people who appear in or can be heard in your contribution are comfortable being included, especially if the card may be published or shared.
• Do not share private addresses, financial details, medical details, identity documents, passwords, or other sensitive information unless you have clear permission and a good reason.
• Contributions should fit the spirit of a group greeting card: supportive, respectful, personal, and appropriate for the recipient and occasion.

No harassment or abuse

• Do not upload content that bullies, harasses, threatens, humiliates, blackmails, or encourages others to target a person or group.
• Do not use cards, contribution links, comments, names, media, or messages to impersonate someone or misrepresent who submitted a contribution.
• Do not upload hateful, dehumanizing, or discriminatory content based on protected traits such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.

No sexual, exploitative, or unsafe content

• Do not upload nude, sexually explicit, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate content.
• Do not upload, request, or link to child sexual abuse material or sexualized content involving minors. We may report this content to appropriate authorities.
• Do not upload content that promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, dangerous challenges, graphic violence, or instructions for serious physical harm.

No illegal, deceptive, or harmful use

• Do not use the service for scams, phishing, spam, malware, credential collection, unauthorized promotions, or deceptive links.
• Do not upload content that facilitates illegal activity, unauthorized access, fraud, doxxing, or evasion of law enforcement.
• Do not probe, attack, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app, its storage, or its security controls.

Respect copyright and personal rights

• Do not upload copyrighted music, videos, photos, artwork, writing, or other material unless you own it, have permission, or are otherwise allowed to use it.
• Do not upload content that violates someone else's privacy, publicity rights, confidentiality obligations, or contractual rights.
• If you believe content on UsTheMemory infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail for us to review the issue.

Card owner responsibilities

Card owners should invite contributors thoughtfully, review submitted content before publishing when possible, and avoid sharing private card links with people who should not see the card. Owners should remove contributions that violate these guidelines or that a contributor asks to remove.

Enforcement

We may remove content, disable cards, restrict contribution links, suspend accounts, or report urgent or illegal content where appropriate. To report content or ask a question, contact usthememorysupport@gmail.com.
